Configure Omnitrend export for automatic file uploading to skAIWatch

This guide is only relevant for customers or sites using Prüftechnik offline systems and Omnitrend. Prüftechnik online systems—both Omnitrend and Omnitrend center—are handled seperatly.

Make sure you have the right privileges to configure Omnitrend. Always do so in collaboration with your IT department.

The correct export path is necessary for Omnitrend to automatically upload data to skAIWatch. This page outlines a guide to configure Omnitrend to work in cooperation with skAIWatch.

First, ensure that skAILink is properly set up and running. Then, set the Omnitrend export path to the active folder specified by the local skAILink configuration. This is performed by:

  1. Open the database you want to configure in Omnitrend. 

  2. Go to “Options” and open “General Settings”. 

  3. Select “Route” and then “Export”, as shown in the figure below. 

  4. Configure the correct directory corresponding to your site.  Contact your IT department to know what path corresponds to your site.

  5. The vessel name and measurement date should be added to the “additional filename extension” option. 

  6. Close the “General Settings” window and confirm settings by pressing “OK”. 

Omnitrend is now configured for automatic uploading to skAIWatch after export in Omnitrend.
