This page outlines how to download measurement routes and upload the data after measurements, both to the local database and to skAIWatch.

Download measurement tasks

Make sure that the VibXpert is on and in the “main menu” before starting. The “main menu” is the first view after boot.

Connect the VibXpert to the computer and open Omnitrend.
To open your database, log in with "guest" as "name". Leave the password field blank. Click on the relevant database, e.g., ”Moholt Shipping - Najaden.mdb", in the screenshot below.
Click on "..." to find your database if it is not listed and navigate to the database file manually, click on it, and click "OK".
Push the "download" button in the upper left and select the Route(s) you shall measure. Click "download", select device and then click "OK".

The measurement tasks are now transferred to the VibXpert.

Store measurements in the local database and upload them to skAIWatch

This method assumes that you have skAILink installed and have configured Omnitrend correctly, as shown in Configure Omnitrend export for automatic file uploading to skAIWatch

Connect the VibXpert to the computer after the measurements are performed. Open Omnitrend the same way as described above in Download measurement.

Click on the "Upload" button on the upper left part of the screen. Select the device and click "OK".
Select the route you used when measuring and click "upload to PC".

The measurements are now stored in the local database and exported to skAIWatch.

ODX files are deleted after a successful upload. Export to a different path if one wants to handle the ODX file.

Please note that only raw ODX-files can be uploaded to skAIWatch. Zip-, Rar-, or MDB-files are not supported.
